I am currently an assistant professor at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. My research interests include global tectonics, the interaction of orogenic belts and sedimentary basins, geochronology, clastic depositional processes, terrestrial paleoclimate records, and petroleum geology. I am very interested in exploratory geology in central Asia as well as in refining our understanding of the tectonics of the western United States.
